来自瑞典、在欧陆、日本等地拥有广大知名度与销售的才女歌手Meja，本名Pernilla，出身于瑞典斯德哥尔摩市郊的Nynashamn市，自幼便展露艺术天份。92年Meja开始正式创作歌曲，便成为欧洲知名流行舞曲团体Legacy Of Sound的女主唱，并一手创造出《Happy》、《Feel So Good》等畅销曲。因为一心想突破流行舞曲的风格，Meja在与Legacy Of Sound合作两张专辑之后，结识了当红的制作人Douglas Carr (Ace Of Base, Real McCoy)，两人一拍即合，自此成为长期的创作伙伴。

96年Meja发表了其首张个人同名专辑，不仅在瑞典本土创下金唱片的销售纪录，并以活力四射的单曲《How Crazy Are You》成功打进日本。97年第二张专辑《7 Sisters》呈现给歌迷一个自然融合流行、爵士与灵魂的舒服乐风，大获好评。
