《Inception》为什么翻译成盗梦空间？原词inception有什么隐含的意思吗？

Inception的意思，根据Merriam-Webster的解释, 是「an act, process, or instance of beginning.」但是电影取Inception为名，我推测和词语的意义关联不大，而与词语的构成有紧密联系。

Inception为拉丁语源，拉丁语 incipere，“to take in hand, to begin", 而其间前缀 "in-" 意指 “in, inside", 如inscribe, 此处"in-"并非表示否定。而词根 cip-，拉丁语capere, "to catch, to seize, to take", 意为‘抓，取，拿”。那么这个词的字面理解就是"to get in and take". 而这与「盗梦空间」电影内容是有直接联系的。

进一步说Cobb在与Ariadne交谈时解释了盗梦的原理: 「Now in the dream, our mind continuously does this. We create and perceive our dream simultaneously. And our mind does so well that we don't even know what is happening. That allows us to get right in the middle of that process. By taking over the creating part. 」这就完美地对应了「In-cept-ion」的过程，进入目标的潜意识，再进行意念盗取。

extrahere，前缀ex-, "out", 如exit, exhale; "tract-", 来自拉丁语 trahere, "to draw", 意思就是 "to draw out", 意念盗取，和 inception: go into and take ideas 构成了完美接合融洽的字面意义逻辑对应，也是盗梦的两个步骤。所以，我认为，片名inception的探索从构词法的角度，更能够契合电影的核心内容。Cobb在电影里潜入Fisher的潜意识，植入(implant)意念；"maze"和"labyrinth", Ariadne的对白里就用了"labyrinth", 刚好电影与神话再次符合。
