卡梅伦·吉布里尔·托马斯（Cameron Jibril Thomaz），生于1987年9月8日，以其艺名维兹·卡利法（Wiz Khalifa）出名，是美国宾夕法尼亚州匹兹堡出身的说唱歌手。

凭借超越实际年龄的成熟填词能力以及锐利的洞察力，来自美国宾夕法尼亚州匹兹堡的说唱歌手Wiz Khalifa是两千年后段最值得关注的后起之秀之一，小时候深受东岸说唱（Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan）、南部的Three 6 Mafia以及Bone Thugs-N-Harmony那特别的flow方式影响，Wiz把几个风格捏合在了一起，发展出了自己的风格，看着这个年轻人的不断成长，就如同看着匹兹堡这个嘻哈小城镇的成长。

出生在军人家庭的Khalifa本名Cameron Thomaz，1987年出生在北达科他州的麦纳特，3岁时父母离异，在来到匹兹堡安定下来之前年轻的Cameron辗转于多座城市甚至包括几个美国外的军事基地，在这期间，写词是他为数不多的兴趣爱好之一，依靠环游世界的经历，他的歌词得到了极大的历练。12岁的时候，Khalifa第一次进入了他父亲建造在奥克拉荷马的录音室录音。

回到匹兹堡后，Khalifa并正式开始了自己的说唱生涯，他不断的到市外小镇劳伦斯维尔的一家叫做“I.D.实验室”的录音室录歌。由于出入频繁，成为了该录音室的老客户，“I.D.实验室”便开始为他提供免费的伴奏和额外的录音时间，同时，一来二往，Khalifa认识了同样常去“I.D.实验室”的一个大人物，Benjy Grinberg ，此人是L.A. Reid在Arista唱片公司公司任职期间的左右手，而他当时正刚刚创建了自己的独立厂牌Rostrum唱片公司，Khalifa顺理成章的签约了Rostrum并且在匹兹堡渐渐声名鹊起。不过，Khalifa真正被全美国所熟知是他于高二那一年（2006年）发行的Mixtape 《Prince of the City: Welcome to Pistolvania》，同年，他发行了自己第一张正式专辑《Show and Prove》，全美主流Hiphop媒体包括Vibe, XXL和滚石都专门撰文介绍了这位年轻有为的说唱新人，并一致把他称为“匹兹堡的嘻哈王子”。而Khalifa也无愧于这个称号，单Mixtape就在当地卖出了几万张，更别提全国范围里卖出的几万张《Show and Prove》了。

2007年，Khalifa签约了华纳兄弟并马上发行了两张新的Mixtape：DJ Green Lantern主持的《Grow Season》和《Prince of the City 2》。而他在华纳的第一支单曲，电子舞曲风格的 “Say Yeah”让他一炮而红，这首歌曲登上了美国公告榜的前40位，并在最热说唱榜上高居第20位。“Say Yeah”取样了1999年荷兰电子音乐组合Alice Deejay的"Better Off Alone"，也算是那一年开始流行的Rave-hop的领跑人物。

2008年9月，Khalifa发行了新Mixtape《Star Power》，2009年4月他又发行了《Flight School》。同年7月，Khalifa因为自己的专辑《First Flight》屡次被推迟而和华纳分道扬镳，“我在那里学到了很多，并在这个过程中成为了一个更成熟的艺人，”在接受采访时，Khalifa这样说道，“我很高兴能够向前走，掌控自己的下一步计划。”

2009年8月9日，Khalifa和另一位优秀的说唱新人Curren$y合出了一张Mixtape《How Fly》。

2010年12月，Khalifa全新单曲Black And Yellow销量超过50万，成为热门金曲。
