DinoJelusic出生于1992年6月4日，来自欧洲的一个小国家——克罗地亚,自幼就是一位才貌双全的小男孩,Dino的父母都是搞音乐的，Dino专辑中就有不少歌曲是他父亲所创作的。Dino他父亲是弹吉他的，他母亲是吹长笛的，而Dino跟他的妹妹就弹钢琴。在2岁就会演唱他所喜爱的歌手的所有歌曲,幼稚园时的各种表演就让大家发现他的音乐才华,他5岁就已经拥有生平第一次的电视音乐秀的登台经验,并且受邀参加各种演出,其中有几首自创歌曲更是获得过音乐奖项!2003年11岁的他代表克罗地亚参加JESC（全欧洲少年歌手大赛）众望所归的让他脱颖而出而得到冠军,他有着俊秀的外表和具有爆发力的嗓音,除了词曲皆出自他自己,一开头的钢琴旋律即是由Dino自行包办伴奏,也因为这次的比赛,他一夕成名成为第一位赢得JESC比赛的儿童,精彩的舞台表演吸引了许多歌迷,并且他已经有了自己的官方网站,个人专辑"No.1"更是发行了克罗地亚版和国际英语版两种版本。值得一提的是，其中还有几首歌曲是Dino他自己所创作的！他为数不多的几首慢歌也颇具味道。

Intheageof5,5,Iwenttoauditionfor"TurboLimachShow",thebestchildrenshowonCroatianTV,wherechildrensinglive.From5700participantstheyselected64andIwasoneofthem.Iwoninthefirstroundwitharocksong(Gibonni),theninthesemifinal(16singers)withthesongofTonyCetinski"Zbognje".(ToniCetinskiwasourrepresentativeonEurocontestafewyearsago).
IdidfantasticliveappearanceonstageinthebigfinalinFebruary1999(only3singersand1dancegroup)whichopenedmepossibilitytosingonalotofplaces.Mr.TonyCetinskicongratulatedmeforperformanceofhissong,andcalledmetosingwithhimonarevivalnightofCroatianEurosongcontest(reservedforallCroatianwinnersinpastyears).DressedlikeTony,withthesamehairstyleasTony's,Igotattentiontotherepresentativesofmedia,andwasinallnewspapersandafewTVshows.
